Product and project managers have a whole arsenal of tools at their disposal. They use these various pieces to solve problems, make decisions and stay on top of trends in both the industry as well outside it; all while maintaining an airtight case for why this work should be done by someone else (you).
I wanted to collect the top of different software, and got a selection.
Excel. The initiatives that will be planned for the year have been scheduled by months. Each functional piece is further divided into sprints, which you can see on a table with quarterly breakdowns to help keep things organized!
PowerPoint/Keynote. Put together a product presentation for demonstration and approval in front of bosses.
Jira. We transfer the final agreed roadmap here, hit on sprints and tasks.
Trello. Usually it comes in as a task tracker. Columns like: to do, inprogress, done. Get tickets there and move them upon completion. Comments, explanations, enclosed materials — everything is good. Don’t forget to update status, this is the problem with all trackers.
Asana. Projects, boards, task decomposition. Time tracking for a task and other features.
Excel. List of tasks for the week with status. If we understand that we won’t do the task in a week, then we break it into smaller ones in order to meet it. At the end of each week, the status update was done / not done and why.
Calendar. ex. Google. There is no better tool. Book all the reminders for yourself and voila! You are an efficient product.
Jira. The most popular instrument of our time. We start there backlogs, sprints, tasks. Synchronize with mail, slack and enjoy. Tasks move from column to column, from sprint to sprint.
Trello. In general, the same as Jira from Atlassian. Columns, boards and more. Lotions of various smaller, but the entry threshold is lower.
Wall with stickers. The same Jira, only next to it on the wall. It works well if the whole team sits together and everyone remembers to move the pieces of paper.
Confluence. Collect all descriptions of methods, service architecture, content settings and other things in a library. This is a bank where all information about products and processes is stored.
Notion. Similar to confluence with a nicer interface. Customize the template for yourself and work as you like. Collaborative editing and other goodies inside.
Google Analytics — base for your products. Visits, users, churn, retentions, and other data.
AppMetrica. The same analytics, only for applications. You can also send pushes through it with an add-on.
Amplitude or Mixpanel. It’s all about apps too. As in the metric, an inexhaustible source of data, events and other things is available to you.
Appsflyer or Adjust. Add-ons for Mixpanel to track the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. For example, to understand from which advertising channel it is better for users to convert to installs.
Tableau. One big dashboard where you can collect data from different analytics systems. Data mart. Diagrams and graphs included.

Expression. Take and customize the template for yourself. Fill in the columns and rows. Download and use.
Miro. Everything about this service seems to be great.
Xtensio. Beautiful custom templates. You can upload two templates for free.
Miro. And they also have a template for a person.
Marvel. We load the screenshots, select the clickable elements, link them together and you’re done — interactive prototype.
Miro. Mindmap mode and directly paint the user’s path step by step. Awesome for visual thinkers.
